In an effort to further our mission of connecting learners internationally through technology and travel, Swaliga in partnership with the GEEC will be hosting a series of Digital Exchanges (DX) each month around various STEAM topics.
Every 3rd Saturday, the Tribe gathers virtually to learn and have fun. Each session features mindful wellness and meditation activities, hands-on learning opportunities, STEAM competitions and youth performances.
The Digital Exchange events bring together the whole Tribe, and gives learners from 15 different cities, 10 different countries on 5 continents including: (USA) Washington, D.C., Houston, TX, Los Angeles, CA, (South Africa) (Rwanda), (Nigeria), (Jamaica), (Brazil), (Sierra Leone), (Kenya), (Uganda), (India), (Japan) etc. opportunity to connect and meet each other virtually. Scholars traveling from different countries will be able to connect with their peers abroad before traveling to increase their skills development and build their cultural awareness.
The Swaliga Foundation is pioneering systemic change through STEAM education.
With a focus on bringing trauma-informed educational resources to the most underserved and underrepresented communities, we’re changing the trajectory of STEAM access for black and brown young people around the world.
